Sincordia acquires again
11th May, 2011
Sincordia, a Leamington Spa-based internet solutions provider, has made its fifth acquisition with the buy of Velnet Web. The purchase of the London-based company has quadrupled Sincordia's client base.
Velnet Web specialises in web hosting, domain names registration, web design and ecommerce web application development. Sincordia said the deal has allowed it to become one of the largest hosting companies in Warwickshire with a client base of more than 5,000.
In the last four years Sincordia has purchased HostZone, Pmh Internet Services, Smudge IT and Jab Web Solutions.
Simon Lavin, managing director of Sincordia, said: "We are delighted to have acquired Velnet Web which is a much respected organisation. We intend to build upon its reputation and continue to offer the same first class service to its customers.
"The recession has seen many IT businesses collapse but we continue to go from strength to strength investing wisely and soundly. Our aim is to build Sincordia into one of the most respected companies in the Midlands and eventually the UK."
